# Using Huggingface Chat-UI for your AI application

The Chat-UI, which is an open-source initiative developed by Huggingface, stands out for its integration within the Huggingchat platform, showcasing a remarkable blend of ease of setup, an aesthetically pleasing user interface, and dependable functionality. This combination of features positions it as a highly sought-after resource for developers and users alike who are in search of a robust and intuitive chat interface solution. However, it is essential for potential adopters to be mindful of certain challenges associated with this repository. Despite its numerous advantages and generally stable performance, there have been critical periods where bugs, specifically in the most current versions of the repository, have led to substantial operational disruptions. These issues have, on occasion, resulted in the Chat-UI becoming completely unusable for time frames extending to as long as one week. Such occurrences underline the importance of conducting thorough testing and staying informed about the latest updates and user reports before deploying the latest version of the Chat-UI in a production environment.

*Please be aware that these errors occurred while hosting applications on Hugging Face Spaces, utilizing their Docker Template. It is possible that some of these problems occurred because of their template, or due to the functionality and setup of Spaces.*

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.leunos.com/information/using-huggingface-chat-ui-for-your-ai-application.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
